Welcome to the Forest Biodiversity Indicators Selection Web Tool, developed as part of the research program directed by the National Commission on Science for Sustainable Forestry.

This web site will help you think about biodiversity indicators. Our site helps forest managers, stakeholders, and policy makers navigate the complex concept of measuring biodiversity for sustainable forestry. We encourage you to read a short background paper on selecting indicators effectively.

By using the selection methods below, you will be provided with a list of relevant indicators. By comparing summary sheets, you can decide which indicators meet your needs. You can also add indicators to your personal list, and then print a comprhensive report. Good luck!
